Meet Karyn

Hello! My name is Karyn and I am the Practice Manager here at AICC!

Before joining AICC, I spent more than 10 years working in a school setting, where I developed a deep appreciation for supporting children and their families. While I loved working in education, I was drawn to the opportunity to help clients in a different capacity. Being part of a team that supports both clients and clinicians allows me to continue making a meaningful impact while helping create a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

What I enjoy most about my role is making things easier for both clients and clinicians—whether that means reducing stress, solving problems, or helping people feel supported and heard. I truly enjoy helping others and being part of a team that works together to provide meaningful care. One of the most fulfilling aspects of my role is contributing to the foundation that allows excellent clinical care to happen while helping create a warm, welcoming environment for our clients.

My hope is that every person who interacts with me feels welcomed, cared for, and supported from the very first interaction. One of the simple joys of my workday is spending time in the front office, where I have the opportunity to greet clients and engage in brief conversations while they wait. These small moments help create a comfortable and positive experience, and I love being able to contribute to that sense of connection and belonging.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my son and my family. I also enjoy exploring new shows, books, and podcasts. I also enjoy staying active through Spin and Zumba classes. When the weather is nice, I enjoy being outside! I recently started gardening which is something that I am really enjoying!

Some of my favorite resources include Atomic Habits by James Clear and The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins. I also enjoy listening to podcasts such as The Mel Robbins Podcast, Wellness Mama Podcast, Mindful in Minutes, and The Wellness Process.
