Hello, I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m passionate about guiding individuals on their journey toward healing, self-discovery, and authentic expression. As an art therapist, I believe deeply in the transformative power of creativity. Artmaking can help people of any age express what feels too big, too confusing, or too overwhelming to put into words. You don’t need to consider yourself an artist to benefit from creative healing - together, we’ll explore art in ways that feel accessible, grounding, and tailored to your unique needs. Alongside art therapy, I also offer traditional talk therapy, allowing us to blend creativity and conversation in whatever way best supports your growth.

My work is rooted in a person-centered and existential approach. I believe you are the expert on your own experience, and my role is to walk beside you with curiosity, warmth, and respect. I work with children, adolescents, and adults, and I tailor therapy to meet each client exactly where they are. Whether I’m supporting a child through developmental challenges, helping a teen navigate identity and self-expression, or walking with an adult through life transitions, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace.

I am currently pursuing licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board-Certified Art Therapist under the supervision of Nancy Morales, LPC, ATR-BC, CPCS, and AICC Clinical Director, Christi Bartolomucci, PhD, LPC, CPCS. My background includes experience working with children in private school settings and adults across a wide range of concerns. My areas of specialty include ADHD, ASD, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, chronic illness, grief and loss, behavioral challenges, personal growth, relationships, social skills, and major life transitions such as divorce or career shifts. I also specialize in identity work, helping clients explore and embrace their authentic selves.

As a queer-affirming therapist, I am committed to creating an inclusive, celebratory environment where LGBTQ+ clients feel seen, valued, and supported. I frequently work with neurodivergent clients — especially those who are late-diagnosed or exploring the possibility of being neurodivergent — and I offer neurodiversity-affirming care that honors each person’s lived experience. I also have a special interest in sex therapy for adults, offering a compassionate, shame-free space to explore sexuality, intimacy, and desire as essential parts of overall well-being.

I enjoy working with clients who struggle with shame, self-criticism, or a harsh inner voice. Many of my clients come to me feeling like therapy hasn’t worked for them in the past, and they’re open to trying something new - something creative, gentle, and grounded in genuine connection. I work from an integrative therapeutic approach, drawing from existential, client-centered, and solution-focused therapies. My presence in the therapy room is warm, safe, and gentle. I often incorporate humor and play to help clients feel emotionally grounded and to navigate overwhelming emotions with more ease. I want you to know that I care about you, your wellbeing, and your journey - and that I’m with you as you explore what healing looks like for you.

In session, I focus on creating a space - whether virtual or in person - that feels warm, creative, and safe. I want you to feel comfortable enough to bring all parts of yourself into the room. With your consent, I often incorporate artmaking as a grounding tool or as a way to deepen understanding of your emotions and experiences. I believe that the therapeutic relationship itself is one of the most powerful tools for healing. Interventions and psychoeducation can be incredibly helpful, but it’s the safety, trust, and connection we build together that allows you to explore the parts of yourself that may feel too big, too shameful, or too overwhelming to face alone. I welcome all parts of you with curiosity and care.

Outside of the therapy room, I’m a lifelong crafter who loves working with needlepoint, knitting, stained glass, ceramics, and just about any art form I can get my hands on. I enjoy cozy video games, puzzles, snuggling with my cats, and reading or listening to books. I’m inspired by podcasts like Where Should We Begin? and MissUnderstood: ADHD in Women, and I often recommend books such as Hey Warrior, The What Ifs, Unmasking Autism, Maybe You Should Talk to Someone, Decolonizing Therapy, and Wintering.

Above all, my goal is to empower you to live a life that feels full, meaningful, and true to who you are. With kindness, warmth, and genuine care, I’m here to support you on your journey toward healing, creativity, and growth.

This being human is a guest house. Every morning a new arrival. A joy, a depression, a meanness, some momentary awareness comes as an unexpected visitor. Welcome and entertain them all! Even if they’re a crowd of sorrows, who violently sweep your house empty of its furniture, still, treat each guest honorably. He may be clearing you out for some new delight. The dark thought, the shame, the malice, meet them at the door laughing, and invite them in. Be grateful for whoever comes, because each has been sent as a guide from beyond.
